Connecting Scientific Excellence with Strategic Opportunities for Societal Impact
Integral Foundations works with research organisations, innovation-led businesses and public sector partners to identify strategic opportunities, build international partnerships, and translate scientific expertise into measurable economic, environmental and societal impact.
Integral Foundations was established by Caroline to bridge the gap between scientific excellence and real-world impact.
A scientist by training, I have spent the past 15 years working across international research and innovation environments, including CSIRO in Australia, Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) in Italy, and the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. Through these experiences, I have developed a deep understanding of how research excellence, technological innovation, industry collaboration and policy priorities can address complex societal and environmental challenges.
Throughout my career, I have worked with researchers, innovators, businesses and public sector organisations to identify strategic opportunities, build international partnerships and translate scientific knowledge into meaningful impact.
Integral Foundations shares this experience to help organisations strengthen research and innovation strategies, connect expertise, and create pathways from ideas to impact.
The philosophy
Complex challenges cannot be solved in isolation. They require collaboration across disciplines, sectors and borders.
In my experience, scientific excellence creates the greatest value when it is connected with the people, organisations and systems that can transform knowledge into action.
This perspective underpins Integral Foundations: bringing together scientific understanding, strategic thinking and collaborative approaches to help organisations address complex challenges and create meaningful impact. impact.
My approach
Strategic: Connecting research capabilities, emerging opportunities and organisational priorities to develop clear pathways from ideas to action.
Collaborative: Building meaningful partnerships across research, industry and policy ecosystems to connect expertise and enable innovation.
Impact-driven: Aligning research and innovation opportunities with societal needs, environmental priorities and funding landscapes to deliver measurable outcomes.
Why work with me
With experience spanning Australia, Europe and the UK, I bring a unique perspective on how research ecosystems operate, how partnerships are built, and how scientific knowledge can be translated into opportunities with real-world impact.
I work with organisations seeking to strengthen their innovation strategies, develop meaningful collaborations and maximise the impact of their expertise.
